These little charms were inspired by my favorite holiday dessert (or possibly even my favorite dessert in general), complete with a dollop of whipped cream. They're not in my etsy shop, because I'm taking them with me to the Fresh Blend show this weekend. I was pleased with the way they turned out, because this was something new for me and it isn't always pretty when I try new things.
And now, here are a few things that made me happy today. For starters, I went to work at my Dad's shop and I took an early-moring photo of the last few wildflowers I could find, because the time of year for them to go to sleep is quickly approaching and I may not have the chance again until spring.

Then I came home to find my kitty playing peek-a-boo under the rug. It was pretty adorable in my humble opinion, so I captured a few photos.

ReplyDeleteThose pumpkin pies look mouth-watering! Can you make real ones? There are so many things that made me happy today. First of all, I found two more shops to consign my works at!! Secondly, I caught a great movie today, 2012. You got to watch it! Plus, the perfect, cooling weather.. wonderful dinner, seeing my beloved Nono, etc. There are so many things to be happy about everyday. I feel so blessed! :)

ReplyDeleteLet's see... today I am happy because my pup is home from the vet, and while she's still a little groggy, I can see that she's doing well and she'll be just fine in a few days. Yay! ♥
And, my calendar is officially open for the next couple of weeks, so I'm finally finding the time to get going again on all these silly ideas I have for my shop. If only I could wiggle my nose, and blink a few times... things my magically appear... but it's still fun getting things done anyways. ;)
And I'm happy to see a new post on your blog. Your blog ALWAYS makes me smile, and you are an inspiration when I make up posts of my own.
Optimism attracts optimism. I just love seeing life through your eyes. Simple and sweet, and you always enjoy the little things.

Today, the sunshine is making me happy. And hearing the little people play outside in the leaves with their friends makes me happy. And knowing I can crochet whatever I want because I've got this week's orders finished makes me happy.

So you know those best friend hearts that come in half to share? I think your pumpkin pie would be so much more fun than half a heart. You can include way more bestest-ever friends than just one, AND everyone gets to rock some pie!
