Cozy

Everyone has a spot that is more comforting than any other place on the planet to them. I have a few places in my home that make me feel all cozy. There's a chair with a lamp next to it in our office where I like to read, I have definitively claimed my half of the couch, and I've even been known to find nice spots on the floor to relax. But one area of my home makes me feel more cozy than any other.

Cozy

I love to curl up on my corner of the bed when I'm trying to wind down in the evening, and also when I just want to chill out a little during the day. Since I don't have room for a nightstand in my little corner and I'm often reading a book or two, I installed a little basket where I can easily stash my reading materials.

Cozy

I've also decorated the area with a screenprinted book page by Weather and Noise and a lovely print I got as a wedding gift from Heather at Audrey Eclectic.

Cozy

Just through my bedroom windows, I can see the sun setting through one of our trees during the evening and it looks like this:

Winter Sunset

Now that you've seen mine, tell me about your favorite place to get cozy! Especially if you've got a window seat...

...because that would make me deliciously jealous.

Our house is so little that my cozy spot is pretty much just on the couch, when the house is quiet... but I dream of the day my craft space is bigger and I can bring in a comfy chair for reading, and thinking, and quiet... ♥

I love the colors in your bedroom! I guess I'd have to say my cozy spot is in my living room, but I don't know how cozy I'd really say it is ;)

I have no window seats, but I KNOW I NEED one!!

My fave cozy place at my house is my side of the couch, next to the window!

Vibrant space, just like you :) I'd LOVE a window seat. One of these days, one of these days. I see you've got some Neil Gaiman there...he's been recommended to me several times but I've never picked one up. Maybe my next read!

I wish I had a window seat. But until then, I find the bed cosy.. and the couch...hmm.. and our new rocking chair. Can you tell I like to be cosy all the time? hahaha

Your bedroom is so lovely and very modern. I love that lamp!!!! And, of course, I love those art prints - I own a number of Audrey Eclectic pieces and of course, I approve, of the book print. :) My cozy spot is my love seat in the living room, curled up with a fleece blankets and dogs at my feet. :)

That does make me feel cozy! Just the right place to snuggle up to a good book.

I like the colorful artwork that you have decorated with and I think that I need to get a little shelf for my books like you have!

very cozy indeed, and what a good idea about the book rack! I like the art on your wall too :) I've always dreamed of a bed that was built into the wall with little doors you could close. I think I saw it in a movie when I was a kid and filed that away under 'awesome!' :)
