I love this exercise because not only does it work a difficult area, but it also requires very little equipment. All you need is a body ball, so if you've got one (or if you're willing to shell out as little as 10 bucks to get one) let's get started!
Like I mentioned on the video, it's a good thing to be a little sore. That means it's working! But you will want to find that perfect balance between working these muscles hard enough and working them too hard, so go easy at first to test the waters. If you incorporate this kind of exercise into your routine on a regular basis, it can really transform your body. I'm a huge believer in a combination of cardio and weight training, so pair this workout with a brisk walk or run and show those love handles who's boss.
Have a happy, healthy weekend!

You make it look so effortless! :) I'll definitely be giving this a try.
You are so cute Holly! And you DO make these exercises look effortless, I agree! :D
Loved seeing you on video, Holly!
Wow! Thanks, Holly. I am such a klutz, I'd probably roll off the ball! LOL But I'd be willing to give it a go...thanks again!
This is a great post ! You gave me the right inspiration for tomorrow, I go back to the gym after a couple of weeks without working out ! <3

ok, that muscle man diagram threw me into hysterics - does laughing work your abs? :)
thanks for demoing the right way to do the obliques exercise. you do make it look effortless and after a few sets I would be saying some not so nice words! I'll be working up slowly!
Oh girls, if I make it look easy that's just because it is! Given, it does get more difficult once you've done about 30 of them but all in all it's a very simple exercise- I promise!
Love, love, love this! Thank you for posting it!!
oh - yup just what I need to work on as per my current "body by Quaid". I think that I will need to secure the ball by blocking it with a blanket or else I might fall off. =)Susan
You're so adorable! And that diagram guy is quite hilarious.
Ok, so this one is so very welcome!! I really need to start getting in shape, and this is one I know I need!
